Default Thinking of getting a new roll box

Hi folks,

I've been using a roll box similar to a Gizeh Silver tip off and on for about 2 years. Got it from Flea bay at a dirt cheap price. Lately the apron is getting a little wrinkled and frayed, which is resulting in misrolls (about 1 in 5). I'm really not in the market for an injector, since: a) I've managed to destroy every injector (2 or 3) I've had the misfortune to lay my mitts on, and; b) I prefer unfiltered smokes. I've been looking far and wide for a roll box preferably made in the UK or EUR and not China, (I know everything is made there, but I'm holding out hope there's some old school folks somewhere who still make a quality machine.) Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance

Just ordered one. Saw a roll box I really liked, but the price was way too high ($19.49 + 16.00 shipping). Think I'll wait a while

BTW, Gizeh does make a rollbox. Here's a pic

Did you capitalize it? It has been in use for over a year. Maybe they finally ended it tho.

Default General questions on roll boxes?

Are the boxes better/faster/more consistent than a roller?
They seem cool, what do you like about them?

To be honest, I don't know. I'll know more when I get my rizla metal roller in a couple of weeks (it's coming on a slow boat from Estonia)

I do know that my roll box has lasted a lot longer than any injector I've ever owned.

Well, it looks like I'm gonna stick with my ebay special a bit longer because I want that british one and I'm gonna have to save up for it.

One change that I made was to buy cut-corner papers (i.e., Gizeh Green, Smoking #8 Green & Mascotte) which give me a more consistent roll. Earlier I rolled about 24 sticks and only had 2 misfires, and I did those in about 20 minutes. So I'm a pretty happy camper for now.
