Default wake up

I woke up this morning and as per usual grabbed my pack and lit one up. It felt amazing, one of the best cigs I've ever had.
Until I reached the last third of the cigarette.
I started feeling very lightheaded and dizzy. I broke into a cold sweat. Started feeling sick.
I went back to bed and opened the window to get some fresh air in. It took a couple of minutes to start feeling well again.
This hasn't happened in years. I smoke 1ppd+ so I was caught unprepared.
I still felt like smoking so I waited a little and smoked a couple more, and felt fine.

I know that while sleeping we go into nicotine withdrawal, so I understand that this may not be as unusual as it seems to me. Is this something you experience? Is it frequent? This was the first time it happened to me so I have no clue.

It sure sounds like nicotine overload, but itís definitely weird considering your smoking rate. Every once in a while I will get a slight ďbuzzĒ off that first one in the morning, but nothing like you described. Probably just an isolated incident given your body chemistry at that moment.

The first cigarette of the day will give me a little buzz if Iím standing while smoking it but if Iím driving or sitting thereís no buzz

That's interesting because I was actually standing up instead of lying down or sitting as usual. Good to know.

Maybe you have the flu or something. I usually feel the first one in the morning right down to my toes. If I have a cold or flu it's hard to get through that first one.
