I can’t stop smoking and I don’t want to. Even if I could, I wouldn’t. There’s too much pleasure to be had with smoking. I’m a totally unrepentant smoker. Do you all feel the same way?

Hi mate
Army lad here, 19 and just became a full time smoker. I started on my last tour with army mates and don't regret it. Do I want to stop before full addiction - hell no. 12 weeks ago I wouldn't thought I would become a smoker but as I now smoke regularly wished I had started in school like most of my mates.

Exactly! Fortunately, even at 64 after smoking for 52 years, I've had no problems. But I'm sure that if I needed to quit for health reasons, I'd need professional help.

I wonder even smoking for such a long time you feel no problems, seems amazing! You must have got really amazing genes then!! What about your sister?

Can't quit my cigarettes here either. Last time I tried was maybe 20 years ago. Found trying to quit to be too hard...impossible, in fact. I realized I really didn't want to, so I quit trying to quit...and that was really easy to do lol! And after years of being a heavy smoker, even if i did want to quit, and was able to, I really don't know how I would even begin to function as a non-smoker. For the past 35+ years, the very first thing I do when I wake up is light up a Marlboro Red. I have no clue how I could wake up not doing that.
