![]() You know back when I was growing up smokers married to non-smokers was common place, and those couples didn't seem to have any problems understanding each other. Over the last 20 years anti-smoking fanatics have succeeded in creating a lot of hysteria which divides people. Don't make your friend's views your own. ![]() First and foremost treat her like a lady. Never hesitate to be a gentleman and light her cigarettes. Just accept that she is a smoker. You don't have to understand her cravings. Just remember if she doesn't smoke she will have cravings. She will have a personality change. So be understanding and a bit thick skinned. Like others have typed, starting smoking to please someone else is not the best reason to start. If you chose to start, it must be to please yourself and only yourself. So good luck! |
