Default Smoking accessories

Do you have any cherished smoking accessories?
For example, a well-battered, black oxidised Ronson lighter?
Or maybe a flat, slim and wide gun-metal cigarette case, big enough to hold 50?
Or perhaps a heavy desk ashtray made from the base of an old naval shell?

Today, no.

Back in the 70's I found a zippo lighter that was etched for the battleship, USS Iowa. Sadly, I too lost it a couple years later.

Now that's a fine ship sir!
I see far fewer Zippos in use nowadays.
But cigarette cases are coming back into fashion a bit now as a result of the new packaging?

Anyone ever had a smoking jacket?

The USS Iowa and the entire class were a very interesting class of battleships.

One of my hobbies is building models of aircraft and ships. I am working on models of the battleships HMS Nelson and Hood.

LOL. Reminds me of the scene in Airplane when Striker asks for a smoking ticket.

Have you been on board any of them? Wouldn't mind doing a tour of Mighty Mo if I should ever go back to Hawaii.

Interesting. Have you modelled any of the great liners?

I have been aboard the USS Alabama a couple of times along with the USS Drum.

I have also been aboard the U-505 in Chicago and the USS Silversides and LST in Muskegon, MI.

I did tour the Canadian passenger ship Keewatin before it was moved from MI to Canada.

I have toured the SS Valley Camp ore boat at the Soo in Michigan.

I have the RMS Queen Mary in my model stash. I have done a bit of work on it.

I have yet to make it to Hawaii. If I ever do go, I would want to see the USS Missouri, the USS Arizona, and the USS Utah. The last is the forgotten wreck of Pearl Harbor.

Default Smoking Accessories

Smoking Accessory to me rather bland in comparison to others described, Bic Lighter in Pink in pouch of Buxton Clasp Case.
Ensures one location for cig and lite when cig time comes
