I can’t understand why some people who smoke exhale almost immediately after they draw the smoke in. How do you enjoy a cigarette when you exhale so quickly. I know there was a poll on this once. To me, you are missing out on the pleasure of smoking when you exhale so quickly. I like to hold it in for at least a few seconds.

I also like to take a big deep drag and talk... looks pretty neato but takes practice to speak clearly.

I wasn’t awazre that there were any prescribed requirements as to a person’s choice of smoking method. Why does it matter?

I have wondered the same thing as pallmalllover. I don't know how you can really get "the hit" if you blow it out immediately. That seems more like how one starts smoking with shallow inhales and puff-like exhales. I like to feel the smoke go inside me before exhaling. I always exhale several times after I take a drag. I don't think I could blow it all out in just one exhale anyway. I guess I have been smoking long enough to see it as more of an art or passion. To each their own though, we all enjoy the same thing.

I’ve seen numerous ways people smoke. I don’t think there’s a bad way unless you light the filter first.
