I grew up in a non-smoking household (and so did my girlfriend)...I was intrigued by smoking watching so many attractive women light up (esp growing up as a kid during the 80s). Turns out my girlfriend was turned on once she caught onto the fact that I was lighting up on occasion, and started smoking herself. I didn't really try smoking until I was about 30, and hid it for quite awhile. Now that my girlfriend smokes daily, we go out where smoking/drinking is allowed (casinos, etc.) and have a great time. I think once the cat is out of the bag, especially with the SO, it's much easier...you can have that pleasure when you want it, and there's less guilt/weight on your shoulders. Hiding it was a big mistake.
