Not as good as Camels,Pall Malls or Luckies (which cost about $12.20 in New York state where I live), but these taste fine and have a satisfying nicotine hit. Plus the full king size (like Pall Mall NFs) offers a longer smoking experience which makes up for a slightly quick burn.

The chemical taste in these is overwhelming. Just a nasty tasting non filter. As a non filter smoker i can tell you that these are just horrendous, stay far far away.

Just picked up a pack of these today, because the small town gas station I stopped at had a slim selection and only had USA GOLD as fas as non-filters go. So I settled on them instead of my usual camel. I must say that they are very low cost for a satisfaction not far from camel non-filters.

It seems weird now but my parents started me with drags on their cigarettes (Pall Mall and Chesterfields). When I was old enough to carry, they selected Camels as they would fit better in my small pockets and would lead to less sharing between everyone else's packs. I smoked them all through school and into the military. PX had run out one day so I bought a carton of Luckies. Smoked those for 40 years till the price got out of hand. I now smoke unfiltered USA Gold for the price and availability. I soon started to enjoy the extra length for an additional drag or two. They are an easy pulling smoke. I get a nice nic hit within five seconds. Can't see any benefit going back to name brands. I'm satisfied.

Not a bad smoke if you like unfiltered cigarettes but do not feel like splurging the extra money on Camels, Pall Mall, or Luckies. They are very harsh and the taste is not quite right. Overall though, a good non-filtered smoke that is enjoyable.

I was a Winston smoker for years but was not getting enough from filtered cigarettes so switched to non-filters. Although Camels and Luckies are my absolute favorites, I have settled on this brand because they are reasonably priced ($31.00 a carton on net) and have a good flavor and strong punch. They are a very strong cig and, being unfiltered, are no doubt loaded with tar and nicotine but that is part of the trade off if you want to smoke a real cigarette.
