Ah these were okay. Harsh throat hit. The taste is very... paper like. There was no menthol taste for me. Idk. Maybe I just got a stale pack. Get them if you want cheap menthols.

I like these. The taste is smooth and a soothing hint of menthol. I havn't tried the full flavor menthol Salems but after these Im definitely going to!

These are an "okay" menthol, but why go for the wanna-be when Kool Milds are equally available? Kool Milds make the tobacco flavor first and foremost, adding the menthol as a nice compliment. Salem Menthol Lights reverse that equation.

My favorite light menthol but they cost much more than most other domestic cigarettes where I live, so I usually just end up getting Camel Light menthol's or Camel Light Wide menthol's which are my second choice. They seem a little on the weak side compared to other light menthol's but that's probably why I like them. My impression is they are in between a light and an ultra light.

Oy vey, where do I begin? After exposure to cigarette brands such as Djarum and Nat Sherman, it will be difficult to give these an unbiased review. But I shall try. During my recent trip to Ohio, I have had the opportunity to sample some Salem lights that a good friend of mine smokes. My thoughts are not positive. The taste of these cigarettes is positively foul, nearly vomit-inducing. Describing it is impossible, as there is nothing in my experience that I can relate it to, but it nonetheless is a very disgusting taste. There is nothing in it that resembles real tobacco of any quality, only a thick, swampy, chemical mix. The menthol sensation is cool enough, but it is completely tasteless and only serves to enhance the sickening effect already present in the taste of the smoke. Upon exhalation, I actually feel my gorge rising. The smell it leaves on you is almost as bad as the taste, and will not aid you at getting or keeping friends or engaging smoothly in social interactions, to be sure. Perhaps I have been spoiled by the more expensive brands that I normally smoke, but even taking that into account, I cannot believe that people would willingly smoke something this putrid. Burn time is average. The price is not too bad, the same as any other mid-end cigarette. The nicotine sensation is fairly weak and does not hit as hard as other cigarettes in the same range, and especially not as hard as the higher end brands.

these were 4 dollars where im from and i got them by accident. i usually dont like light cigarettes and these were no exception. they have an odd menthol taste. it isnt very cool on your lungs and they have the usual minty taste that most menthols do. dont get me wrong, they're bearable but i dont plan on buying them again anytime soon.

These are decent menthols. The menthol taste is somewhat unique with Salems. They are worth a try if you are a menthol smoker. Otherwise, these probably will not do anything for you.
