Due the intro price these are the cheapest cigs I can buy. I have bought 5 packs in a row due to this. I personally don't think they greatest full flavor cigarette but they aren't bad at all. Plus when I'm really craving for a cig these things really hit the spot. I also really dig the short filter. However if these things go stale really fast so unless you smoke often these things are going to taste really crappy after like 4-5 days of opening the pack.

I tried the regular Newport Stripes once about 10 years ago. They were all-white Newport 100s with pink letters (against a white background) on the pack. I think both Newport Stripes are no longer in production today. Those regular Newport Stripes tasted like cinnamon-flavored cigarettes. They smelled a lil bit like cinnamon too. If Newport Stripes were still around today, I MIGHT smoke a cinnamon-flavored cig again. The pink letters on the pack were cute though. BTW, Newport Stripes looked like a normal-sized 100 cig to me.

I've actually never had one of these before, but I have heard of them. It's supposed to be Newport's version of Virgnia Slim- it's pretty much a slim cigarette for women that Newport makes. I'm not sure where they sell them though.
