probably the very best cigarettes you can buy (well, without having to shell out some $100 for a picture of a Panda on the pack); a lot of delicate top leaf tobacco cured just right makes this the absolute opposite of the similarly unprocessed Natural American Spirits, plus you will feel oh so sophisticated smoking them in front of all of your poorer friends; however, they are extremely, extremely expensive for, come on, cigarettes, generally only available in tobacco shops, and, to be honest, with their little story card in between the rows of 10, a bit pretentious to smoke everyday, unless oc you really CAN afford them regularly, then the world is yours! :D

While my smoke of choice is usually clove cigarettes, I thought Nat Sherman Natural Originals would be a good choice to mix things up for the beginning of summer. First off, The packaging and presentation is definitely top notch, and probably not done better much elsewhere. They taste wonderful, burn very nicely, and go in smooth - my main complaint is a certain back-of-throat irritation when exhaling these. Over all, Nat Shermans are a beautiful product, but certainly not for the faint of heart or novice smoker. If you're newer to smoking, I would leave this behind for those more experienced who will certainly enjoy them more.

I am a long time smoker of American Spirits, and always trying out different brands with no additives, and I have been wanting to get my hands on some Nat Sherman's for some time now. I finally found some at a gas station near my house, for a little over 5 dollars, a good 2 dollars less then my regular pack and I couldn't resist. The first couple draws were very pleasant. These are very smooth, and there's a particular peppery flavor you receive, and you can truly taste the quality of the tobacco. The reason I'm rating so low, is because I can only smoke it about halfway down until it becomes too unbearably hot for me to draw again. This may not be uncommon, but this is not something I experience when smoking the Perique Blend American Spirits. I can smoke those to the filter and they're still pleasant, and for that, Nat Sherman's will be a pack that I only occasionally smoke.

These are hands-down the best cigarettes on planet, next to Switzerland/French Dunhill International, of course. The draw on them is a little bit tight, but that's ok, considering the fact that the flavored smoke filling your mouth is dense and cool. Flavor wise, this cigarette reminds me of a cuban cigar. Very earthy, natural tobacco flavor with hints of vanilla in the 1st third. Towards the middle of the cigarette, it hits you citrus, slightly acid flavors and it finishes with the same earthy flavor combined with a very very subtle taste of apple. What really impressed me with this cigarette is the complete lack of bitterness, even when chain-smoking them. This is uncommon with any other cigarette that I have smoked. Also, what I have found is that, considering the fact that these are made from short-fermented tobacco, they behave a little bit like a cigar. Keep them in a spanish cedar tiny travel humidor and they will have an even more enhanced flavor. In the end, I must repeat myself, this is, in my opinion the best cigarette on the planet. P.S. I have yet to try the Nat Sherman Classics

Ok, the only reason I am rating them so low is because first of all, I bought these at a local tobacconist and they must have been sitting there forever. They had no FSC, the taste was stale and nasty, and the cigarette burned as fast as you can blink. I would try these again, but that experience leads me to believe that they are all going to be stale because not a lot of people buy them. I payed way too much for this pack as well. As near as makes no difference, $10. I hope to try a non-stale pack sometime, but this experience was enough to throw me off.

One can tell that NS uses high quality tobacco in it's cigarettes. Clean tasting smoke, with a good buzz. Expensive, but worth the extra buck if comparing them with popular commercial brands.

Sherman Naturals are very similar to Sherman's MCD in taste and appearance, so you know this cigarette is a nice treat. The only visual difference compared to the MCDs is the cork style filter rather than it being brown. The cork looks a little weird with the maduro paper, but it's still very elegant and classy looking. Again, the taste is similar to MCD, almost identical, but it has somewhat of an earthier, almost spicey taste. Really, the difference is subtle, but still a very nice cigarette. Drawing smoke from the filter isn't the easiest thing, but I have the same complaint with the MCDs. I really don't know what they were going for by calling them "Naturals," seeing as how all their stuff is natural. Maybe this is organic? Who knows. Either way, it's good stuff. Even the box is elegant and classy. It might even look cooler than the MCDs box. I recommend these if you want a good clean smoke, though not as highly as Sherman's Classics or MCDs.

This was the first cigarette I bought from Nat Sherman. They are fairly strong and full-bodied, but I expected something smoother. Don't get me wrong, these are not bad at all. It's just that I paid $8 for a pack of them and I didn't know what I was getting.

I love these bad boys. The taste of the pure tobacco is, in my opinion, much more pleasant than any pharmaceutical-packed commercial brand (think Marlboro). In fact, the taste is rather similar to a cigar, peppery and full-bodied. These cigarettes burn for quite a while, and although some may be turned off by the thin, long shape, I think they look bad. The brown maduro paper wrapping is very classy-looking. They cost about $6.50 for a pack of 20 where I live, which may seem high to some, but as a very moderate, one-or-two-cigs-a-day smoker, this isn't unreasonable at all. In summary, the Nat Sherman Naturals are highly recommended.

Along with my aromatic pipe tobacco I have a variety of different natural cigarettes that I rotate through on a daily basis and Nat Sherman Naturals Originals are one of my favorites. These cigarettes are very nice. I love the way they are presented with a maduro wrapper and cork filter. They have a wonderful flavor of citrus notes as mentioned in a previous review with creamy flavors, I even sense some sweet spices and cocoa in the smoke with a rich earthy finish. If you have not tried these cigarettes you should. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for something new and more natural. They are completely worth the $6 a pack price tag and provide a better quality and class of smoking experience than the other cigarette brands.

Certainly one of the best cigarettes money can buy. Nat Sherman Naturals deliver excellent taste and quality. The best thing about these cigarettes is that they cover all the bases. The whole experience of them is superb: the quality packaging, the feel of the cigarette, the taste, everything. The flavour is very creamy and smooth, with undertones of lime and citrus freshness followed by a mellow earthy aftertaste that lingers well on the palate. Excellent pack and draw. Highly recommended.
