I first tried this cigarette because of the distastefull smell and after taste of cigarettes. I have always preferred the menthol. I thought if this did not have all of the additives that this may help with the taste and smell of the typical cigarette. What I found in the cigarette was much more. It is as another reviewer put it, a leisure experience of a social smoker verses the true need to smoke. These cigarettes burn a long time because they are packed tight and do not have fillers. The hint of mint is like no other taste you will find. Instead of decreasing in intensity as you near the end of your smoke you increase the intensity of the mint flavor. This cool, refreshing taste blended with smooth, yet rich tobacco wrapped in the brown paper is pure luxury. This is not a cigarette you want to rush through just to get a nicotine fix. This cigarette is more like sitting by a fire enjoying a cigar or pipe with your best friend. It is just that good! I don't crave cigarettes I crave Nat Sherman Hint of Mint Cigarettes. I love the smell of opening a new box each time. I went to purchase them today at my usual tobacco shop and discovered they fall under the new flavored cigarette law which I find insane. I have seen the comment in the last few boxes I purchased about the name changing to menthol. That makes no sense either because these are not menthol. I am at a loss. Now where do I get them from? That is how I ended up here tring to find out how to buy them from an online store which is not convenient for me.

More and more brands are trying to put the menthol in the filter, and guess what it just doesn't work. The mint is hardly noticable in these. The tobacco itself is very good, long burning etc, but there was no mint to be tasted for me. These cigarettes are great if you need to spend $12 on a pack and gratify your ego.

Well, what can I say. I picked these up after reading some other reviews here, and I don't regret it one bit! I would first like to say that "Hint of Mint" is a bit of a misnomer, because these cigarettes contain far more than a hint of mint. Indeed, they taste very strongly of mint. Which isn't a bad thing at all! These cigarettes are fairly strong. Even with the mint taste masking things, one can tell that they are inhaling a decent amount of tar and nicotine. The mint taste is very strong and cool, but the actual taste itself is different front a menthol cigarette, cooler, and more natural, with subtle tobacco undertones. These are the longest burning cigarettes I have ever smoked. Even when taking frequent hits, the cigarette may burn for ten minutes or more. Because the tobacco is packed so tightly, taking a drag requires a little more effort than one would need with cheaper cigarettes. The packaging exudes class, with its deep green color scheme and horizontally opening box. The brown paper used for the wrappings is also quite attractive. All in all, definitely a good buy, and a very good smoke!

I have managed to be a "casual smoker" for nearly 10 years. I don't ever feel the "need" to smoke; rather I smoke for leisure. That being said, to smoke a Nat Sherman cigarette is an experience in itself. I have tried several varieties of the brand and aside from the Black & Gold, the Hint of Mint is my favorite! I love the slight, sweet mint flavor and I never feel an unpleasant after taste when I have finished one. There is a lot to be said about presentation and Nat Sherman brand cigs are very elegant. I enjoy the smooth, long smoke and the aroma is delightful. Smoking a Camel Turkish Gold recently, (after having smoked Nat Sherman brand for over a week), I couldn't finish it! There is a definate difference in quality, taste and finish. Well worth the price, in my opinion. Since I am not an "every day smoker," I find that these cigarettes are an indulgence and as the product mentions, I prefer QUALITY over QUANTITY. The best cigarettes that I have ever had!

The brown paper is really cool. It stays true to its name that it truely is only a hint of mint. The mint taste is not over powering and is very pleasant. I love Nat Shermans, top quality all around.

Again Nat Sherman delivers a top quality cigarette. Unlike conventional menthol cigarettes no menthol is added during production; instead mint crystals embedded in the filter allow the smoke to pick up a slight flavour of mint as it passes. These taste much better than normal menthols and do not burn the throat because they are 100% additive free.

As a Menthol smoker, I have to say that these are the best cigs that I have ever tried. The taste is very natural, and they are loaded with nicotine. Nat Sherman really delivers top class quality here.
