Montclair Lights Cigarette Reviews

Length: 3 13/16 inches (98 mm); filter 1 3/16 inch (30 mm). (What is it? Doesn't anyone make a 100 mm cigarette that actually measures 100 mm?) Made by Commonwealth Brands in Reidsville, NC, Montclair has been around longer than most of the economy cigarettes on the market.

In fact, at around $20.00 a carton it is priced well above many of them. We were able to tamp it about 1/8 inch. The tobacco was mostly a medium brown color...very few pieces of light or dark leaf in the mix. In the one we opened up, we found two pieces of woody stem material. The smoke itself was smooth; the burn rate about medium. The model we tested was a "light," but we would classify it closer to an "ultra light." In other words, a little low on flavor.
