Kingston Full Flavor Cigarette Reviews

Made by the Kingston Tobacco Company in North Carolina, the Kingston Full Flavor King is 3 5/16 inches long (84 mm), with a white cellulose filter measuring 13/16 inch (21 mm).

The tobacco mixture is about standard for an American blend with finely cut ribbons and flakes. We were able to tamp the cigarette about 1/8 inch, which is somewhat more than we usually find in a king size. Because this indicates to us a slightly less dense filling we were surprised to find the draw was quite hard. The burn rate, too, was slower than the average king sized cigarette. Although packaged as a "Full Flavor" model, the Old Guy did not consider it to be that. That is, while the smoke was smooth enough, there was not a high level of tobacco flavor. Moreover, what flavor there was seemed to be tinged by what he called a "green" taste, reminiscent of some herbal brands he has tried in the past. Furthermore, this unrecognizable "green" lingered as a slight aftertaste when he was finished. In short, the Old Guy thinks there are better value brands out there.
