GPC = Gun Powder Cigarettes: A funny story... I bought a pack of these at a "Discount" tobacco store for about $3.50. I shared them with a buddy one night at his place and we found out that more than half of them in the pack made strong, loud SNAPPING popping sounds while smoking them, so we decided that the name GPC actually stood for Gun Powder Cigarettes. That's how badly they snap, crackled, and popped. I can only imagine the popping was due to plain old tobacco seeds that were not cut, reprocessed, ground, or any other type of processing. At one point, a popping piece actually shot a burning portion of the paper up onto my face and it indeed burned me on the cheek. If you would like to play a joke on a friend, and are unable to find those Wolfpack (or ladyfingers) firecrackers and unwind one from the main fuse, in order to pack one into a smoke and repack it to play a mean prank on someone, then just get some Gun Powder Cigarettes, aka GPC's!
