Cheyenne Menthol Cigarette Reviews

Cheyennes are made by Cheyenne International, LLC right here in the USA. (As a generalization, we find that we prefer USA-made brands ahead of many of those manufactured outside the country.) The menthol king is 3 5/16 inches long (84 mm), with a white cellulose filter 13/16 inch (21 mm).

Despite our vigorous tamping, the tobacco did not compress any measurable amount. The draw was easy; the burn rate was about average, or possibly a shade faster than that. We rated the strength of the menthol flavor at about a 6 or 7 (on a scale of 1 to 10). This relatively strong menthol caused a little harshness in the throat, but since most folks who prefer strong menthol become somewhat inured to that, we assume it is not a very important "negative". So, if you prefer your menthol understated, this probably isn't the model for you. (You might try a menthol light model.) For others, we find the Cheyenne to be a high-quality, inexpensive alternate to the premium brands. (Note: Cheyenne was previously manufactured by a different company. Cheyenne International began making them in the summer of 2004.)
