Made in Tucker, Georgia by Lane Limited. Length 3 15/16 inches (100 mm); filter 1 1/16 inch (27mm).

Tamping did not compress the filler at all, and there was no foreign material found among the ribbons of very dark tobacco. The Old Guy really liked this one and cut quite a jaunty figure while smoking it. As expected (from the label), the smoke was sweet, but not overly so. The aroma was quite pleasant, too, bringing to mind Grandpa's old pipe. We don't expect it would be something to chain smoke...but when you have a hankering for a mild cigar and don't really have the time for a real one, Captain Black might do the job for you.
