Am a Camel regular (n/f) smoker from the states. Being somewhat naive & running low, I bought a carton in Cozumel for US$28. They were awful compared to my US Camels. That's when I discovered the distributor was JTI. Next time I'll make sure I bring enough for the whole trip...

JTI factories in Europe are in Germany, Poland and Romania. I'm smoking German version, for me the best version of european Camels. They dont have sweet taste like USA's version, but still they are great cigarettes. Here in our country Camel Filters have 0.8 mg of nicotine and 10mg tar. I just love these cigarettes, they are much better than Marlboro, here in Europe, in my opinion.

Well, first off, I've never smoked US-made R.J. Reynolds' (maybe one day if I go to USA...) so I can't compare. BUT, these are one of my favourites cigarettes EVER (one of the 2 brands I buy by cartons, the other being... Camel Non-Filter (JTI Europe). They have that distinctive Camel taste, a little fruity and very sweet. Strong enough to get a good buzz while still being smooth and easy on the draw. The packaging looked correct but has been changed in March 2012 and it's now a beautiful curved pack! Price is fair at 4.50€/pack of 19 cig (coming from 4.20 last year :( ) comparing to 5.00 € for Marlboro Reds and 4€ for Chesterfields. Highly recommended if you like Camel !

Nice tasting cigarette, i'm not a regular Camel smoker, but every few months or so i'll pick up a packet of Camels. I enjoy them but they are very strong and affect my chest in a big way if I regularly smoke them.

By far this is probably the best cigarette that I ever had. With its nice tobacco blend and strong reputation Camel is definitely a cigarette for those premium smokers.

I think the best cigarette in Europe. Although i don't like the pack. The old one that still is in US and in the unfiltered Camel is much more beautiful. The pack new design after 2002 i think is most failure move on the marketing history, maybe they done it to show that Camel changed taste.

(It has come to my knowledge, that Camel uses different blends in different parts of the world. Europe has laws which currently allows only a max amount of 1 mg nicotine per cigarette. I dont know if this effects the taste, either way it really sucks, since they create different divisons depending on that part of the worlds tobacco policies. Something tells me overall taste, and therefore also quality is suffering due to these stupid rules. People talk about 'discrimination', well, it seems like you cant smoke even outside anylonger without people staring at you. What is that, if not discrimination? I cant order for example Nat Sherman because of the nicotine content. Well well...) This brand was one of the first try-outs for me. Very smooth, rich in taste and aroma, nice burn and excellent draw. I can smoke two packs on a night out, and it never fails. Nice artwork and colour, but it should be more nicotine so that I can get my favorite 'buzz'. Thank god for Swedish snus. ;)

A little grubby these things, I don't imagine that I could stand to smoke these more than once in my life. Anyone considering should try Djarum's.

Camel outside the US is made by Japan Tobacco International not R.J Reynolds. So we don't talk for the same cigarette(even the pack isn't the same). Well, i remember that Camel in Greece was the top selling brand, until March 2002.This month JT started to sell their own CAMEL and in 2-3 days no one in my country continue to smoke Camel. The new blend of Camel is very strange: you love it or you hate it,maybe lower quality. The new pack of camel is the most failure idea in the marketing history. Oh,i miss the old good american Camel.....hm, but i still smoke this brand because is still one of the best available in the Greek market.
