Not a very good smoke. I don't understand why they're so popular. They're the fastest burning cigarette I've ever seen and they don't taste very good at all, quite weak. I dislike charcoal filters a lot too as it filters out the taste. I would never buy these. Here in NL nobody smokes these and I can see why. Inferior cigarette. They're also priced way higher than brands like Canadian Classic & Mcdonald which are way better and way cheaper. Just don't buy Belmonts unless you're trying to fit in with hipster crowd.

Belmonts have gone down in quality. They used to be the only brand that I bought from 2002-2007 and they were great. Now they taste like crap, make me gag, spit, and there is not enough nicotine in them. I don't know how nobody can see this. Everyone says they are so good but they taste like crap compared to what they used to taste like. Do people forget what cigarettes are supposed to taste like?

A smooth one I always come back to. Expensive but I don't smoke often and they hit the spot. Would've given 5 stars if they didn't have a slight burn problem for me, they usually go out pretty quickly and I have to re-light. Bland, but in a good way. I prefer the regulars. They're costly but try a pack sometime.

These are the very best tasting cigarettes and if they weren't so good I may have quit smoking a long time ago. Too bad they're so expensive but I suppose we can blame that mostly on the government nanny state we live in.

One of the priciest brands in Canada. Smoke is slightly harsh, but not at all bad. Taste is great, no chemical taste here. The taste is almost bland: its not FULL of flavor but yet its still a great smoke. Nicotine hit is fairly heavy. Always a favorite.

I assume that "Belmont Blue" refers to what was previously called "Belmont Milds" as terms like "Mild," "Light," etc, are no longer permitted in Canada. "Belmont Milds" are now just "Belmonts," but they still retain their blue striped package. Anyways, I very much like this cigarette. It has an activated charcoal filter, so the taste isn't as sharp. This particular smoke is very smooth. It goes down easy. The burn rate hovers from fast to moderate. It isn't as hard on the lungs as many smokes, which I suspect is from the charcoal filter.

I dont think belmont blues exist. I know that Belmont recently released Belmont Edge in Ontario and Belmont Micro in Quebec. They're basiclly slim Belmonts.
