i also smoke 1839's, i really like them, and the price is fair. the only problem i have found is the stems in the rolled cigerette. i have a real hard time with this. alot of hard stems, ruins the cigerette.

good for the price. i live in maine. and up here things are expensive. the cheapest cig i can get is fortuna, which are just horrible. so 1839 are the second option, at 4.99 a pack compared to 4.59 for fortuna its good. the 1839 are very good for the price

Ok I think it's pretty funny that the other reviewer said they get theirs from Kroger, cause I do too, then again I live in Kentucky so it's probably a geographical-thing. They cost $2.89, and yes, that price is with TAX INCLUDED. The carton is $25.99 before tax, after tax it's like $26.xx something. Very cheap, but not cheap tasting. I thought my only cheap-tobacco option would be loose leaf or nasty little cigars. But these taste really good. Let me first say though that I've currently only tried their menthol, and as anyone who smokes menthol knows, menthol can really cover up taste. I'll be trying the full flavors soon, but I'm pretty darn sure they will be great too. Another nice thing is that the tobacco is american grown, just a little bonus for people who like to know of what products they buy that are US made.

I can not say enough for these cigarettes. It seems you can only buy them at Kroger, though (per there website). At 2.99 a pack where I am (Indiana), I didn't think they would be anything - but I had to try. Definitely a distinct, but very good taste. I HIGHLY recommend these if you're a smoker and shop at Kroger!
