Grizzly LC wintergreen is my brand of choice. It's the first dip I ever took and I've gone away from it from time to time but I just keep coming back. As a heavy dipper there is no other brand I would consider using other than to occasionally change things up, other than Copenhagen when I get gator lip. It's an extremely strong snuff with a pungent odor of Methyl salicylate (the actual wintergreen oil that gives it it's flavor and smell the same oil used in wintergreen lifesavers) that fades to a deep moist earthy tobacco smell. The flavor is minty but strong and rustic not sweet, with a softer tingling/numbing sensation than mint flavors. It’s priced much better than Copenhagen, Skoal, Kodiak, Hawken, etc generally $2 cheaper, I’m lucky to live in TN where I can get a can for $1.89-2.5 at the max. Downsides (why I only gave it 4 stars) are: 1. strength roughly 3x the nicotine per dip vs a cig of course that all depends on usage but it’ll knock you down if you’re not used to it 2. quality of tobacco IMO it’s the best mid-range brand out there but it’s not Copenhagen or it’s high end counterpart Kodiak 3. range of tobacco quality Grizzly cans typically come with a tobacco quality number under the bar code 0-12 12’s feel like Kodiak 0’s much less so fyi that’s why it’s more expensive than the true economy brands 4. gator lip from the wintergreen and rough tobacco if you dip a lot of it and/or you’re dehydrated your lip can’t heal itself and you gums will become dry, wrinkly and sensitive and the tobacco won’t taste right/will be painful to use. Long story short once you get used to it there really isn’t a better brand out there for any price. IMO the best American moist snuff ever made, period.

It's all I dip. At work, a couple of my bosses always come up and bum a dip. Not too long ago I had Skoal long cut wintergreen and he said nevermind. It tastes better than skoal. It tastes alot like Copenhagen. For the price, its pretty good.

I would probably have given this a 5 star rating if I liked the strength and price a little more. But, it is nonetheless a great dip. When I do dip, I choose Griz bear.

This is good stuff if you ask me. I didn't buy grizz green for a long time because I thought I didn't like wintergreen dip. This stuff tastes amazing a very strong wintergreen with some sweetness. It has a high nicotine content which I can feel even though I don't buzz from nicotine. It packs extremely well second only to maybe stokers, almost always moist. The only downside is the cut and the salt content, wg flavoring and cut is a little abrasive, which is why people think it has fiberglass. I got fiberglass on my hand once and grizzly is nowhere near as painful like that. This stuff is also cheap at most 4 dollars a can.

It is 2.50 for a can where as Skoal is 3.99 but it taste nasty. It does not stick together like skoal. It is the worst dip made.

If you have ever dipped Skoal or Copenhagen, do yourself a favor: buy a can of Grizzly. You'll save a TON of money and will still have the great taste and satisfaction! A great value product!
