I have tried lots of RYO tobacco's. and I find golden Virginia to be pleasant. it has a strong bitter taste and has a good blend between Virginia and Burley and it smells pleasant for me. it's almost similar in taste with the DRUM which uses a Kentucky and Virginia but less stronger in smell and more smother. it is very easy to roll due to its moisture and none of those irritating stem fragments. overall my conclusion is it has a great smooth taste and easy to roll even for the beginners.

I've smoked a 25g packet of american spirit, which is aditive-free tobacco, but now I tried that Golden Virginia tobacco. A 25g packet costs about 3,6€ here, tje bag has a nice zip, preventing tobacco to fall out and making an air-tight blocade. The tobacco itself is very moisty, filled with sweet-rich smell. I'm not a professional at rolling yet, but because of its moisture it's rolling is very, very easy. I like to smell the tobacco (or ciggarete) before I light it. That gives you an original, sweet taste. I gave it 4 stars, because it is very tightened in the bag. But anyway, the best rolling tobbaco I've ever tried.

Decent price and a decent nicotine buzz but the only let down is the taste. I don't like the taste one bit, it gives me a weird taste in the back of my throat and on my tongue.

A very sweet tobacco. just putting it to my lips before lighting it leaves a sweet taste on your lips. Upon lighting, you get a strong hit of sweetness on your tongue, very pleasant. Very smooth on the throat, but can give the lungs a bit of a nudge (especially unfiltered) Not a strong nicotine punch. which makes it great as something to mix with your everyday smoke (mine is 1 part this, two parts Drum original (dark blue) Great smoke!

First, I've got to give this 4 Stars, because - After smoking a few more, I realized it is at not as good as P.S.'s Danish Blend. I finally found a really nice guy, to buy a few pouches from. Thank God! I was going crazy trying to get my hands on some. Anyway, if you're NOT in the US, then this is easy to find. OK: I opened the heat-sealed pouch - Mmmm Mmmm, Smells delicious! Dark & moist, stringy (sort-of like most P.S. blends). Great for rolling, don't think it will stuff into tubes very well, though (so, I didn't even try). I only smoked a few so far, but - It's an OK-tasting smoke, definitely not too sweet. Quite a bit stronger than what I'm used to. Pretty good flavor. A bit of a strong after taste. I could easily see someone smoking this everyday. The smoke, itself, is kind of blue. The P.S. Blends usually produce an amber/yellowish smoke. Just thought I'd mention it. Gonna go smoke another one now... Gotta make these 3 (50g) pouches last me a while, though! : ) So, although it's good; it doesn't beat my Peter Stokkebye Danish Blend. Now, if can just get a few pouches of Amber Leaf to compare...(again). I believe that Amber Leaf is just about the only thing that *might* be better than PS's Danish Blend.

I got this off a duty free site. I ordered 5 pouches and must say, this is by far the best rolling tobacco I have ever tried. It is sweet, but not too sweet. Stays moist very well. Good for hand rolling of course, that is what it is meant for lol. Overall, I would say this is my favorite so far. Cannot get better than Golden V.

Golden virginia is a brilliant tobacco brand and boasts a lot from its taste and price. Golden virginia is sweeter on taste and makes it easier on the throat. Prices are good and start at around 11.50. Golden virginia also tends to stay moister than most other tobaccos and was also before the new zip seal came in. This tobacco is even sweet enough for a pipe. I always find a 50g pouch can last me a whole week and I smoke 25-30 a day and is really worth its money. I recommend golden virginia and smoke it filter less to get the brilliance of its sweet natural and aromatic taste.
