Tried a few packs of these several years ago. Very strong, EXCELLENT cigarette. The best 120 made in my opinion. Like everything else of any quality these days, it's sad to see them go :(

Sorry to announce this but my FL cigarette distributor just informed me yesterday that Lorillard has discontinued the MAX 120 brand (both blue and green). The shroud of the dark side has fallen upon us. Trying to find out which online retailers still have them in stock and who in FL might still have them sitting around. Purchased the last 2 cartons yesterday from a local retailer.

Comments:

The only bummers of Max 120s are: 1) they come in soft-pack only, so they don't survive well in my purse, and 2) the filter isn't as smooth as I'd like it to be, so sometimes my lips stick to the filter when I let the cigarette dangle from my lips. The packaging did change slightly recently, but that's all that changed. Inside is still the same highly satisfying, full flavor cigarette that Max always was.

Never tried them but I know these cigarettes have the highest nicotene content of ANY cigarette on the market. Also, they are near impossible to find. Made by Lorillard.

Bought a pack once to see what it was like to smoke a 120 length cigarette. I just did not like the taste - too full strength for me. Also I was not used to how long it took to smoke a cigarette that big.

Comments:

These Max Menthols taste like a 120 version of a Newport 100. That's how strong Max are. A strong, FF 120 is good to me. If you're looking for a cheaper version of Max, try learning about Opal FF Menthols at blackhawktobaccoshop.com

These have been what I smoke for over 8 years now, after bouncing around from brand to brand I've found smoking I can stick with. I enjoy a longer smoke and these have the flavor that makes them enjoyable to the last puff.

Comments:

I primarily smoke Max 120's, but I will sway to Marlboro 100's on occasion, particularly at home in the evening, or sometimes first thing in the morning. I definitely prefer the "long and strong" that the Maxes provide, plus I enjoy the roach effect that 120s normally provide (start out not-so-strong, but finish off with a good strong kick). I also appreciate a 10-minute cigarette, which 120s provide. But sometimes, I prefer the easier drag that a full-bodied (albeit shorter) cigarette provides; even though the cigarette is normally finished before I am, so to speak. I also prefer the look of all-whites. Even though I'm not too comfortable with the cork filter in public, which most Marlboros are, Marlboro is still an excellent brand of cigarettes, and comes in enough lengths, strengths, and styles to satisfy anyone. I got started on Maxes in 1988. I had been smoking Virginia Slims Lights 120's for three years, and a display of Maxes got my attention. They were superlong, like my Virginia Slims, but the absence of the word "lights" got my attention". I bought a pack, figuring I'd give them a try. Halfway to the car, I lit one up, and by the time I got to the car, I made the decision to empty my buggy, go back inside, and get a carton of Maxes. I liked them that much! And I've been smoking them ever since.
