After switching from Newport reds (100's) to these I find that these are much more smooth and mellow. I honestly thought they would be stronger (they certainly have a hype when it comes to the strength!)Overall a great smoke and at a good price!

My favorite cigarette for the last few years and still is. The reason I love these is because first the pack is awesome. Then you open the pack and the smell is fantastic. It is sweet but strong at the same time. The red Marlboro in script on the filter is a nice touch for the aesthetic feel. The taste is between a 27 and a Red. It is very smooth but has enough kick to make them taste amazing. They burn evenly(because it is a Marlboro) and they don't burn as fast as Reds. Great cigarette that is often on sale for a $1 off.

Honestly the price is the only reason I bought these. I have bought them a few times to give them a chance but they have a very strong chemical taste and not in the classic Marlboro way. I got these for a dollar at a concert and I felt horrible after smoking these all night. The taste is not very good. Better than Pyramids and Pall Mall of course because it is a Marlboro product but one of my least favorite by them.

Comments:

Rated the strength of these a 4 because they're not quite medium, but they're definitely not harsh. A full-flavored cigarette that doesn't feel too heavy in my chest when I smoke it. Price varies depending on where I pick these up, but they're roughly $5.40 at my normal spot. I often find that Marlboro Reds hurt my chest (and wallet) and the entire Marlboro Black line is far too harsh and tastes of chemicals, but after giving these a shot, they've become my everyday cigarette based on enjoyability and price. I will note that this variety is very inconsistent when it comes to burn time. I've had packs that burn very quickly, but I've also had packs that burn slow and last awhile.

I have always smoked Marlboro. But the special blend was cheaper so I decided to try them. I love them and will not change back to Regular Marlboro.

I was a Marlboro smoker. But I have searched for a cheaper cigarette. Now I smoke sice a coule of days Braniff red cigarillos. Unfortunately they are much stronger, but now I am getting used to these cigarillos I would say 8 stars for Braniff!

These are like an L&M maybe. Cheaper than a Red but more expensive than an L&M, fairly smooth and mostly clean tasting. Better than a Red but still not the highest quality cigarette I've ever smoked. The best things about these cigs is 1) the price 2) the cool pack design 3) the fact that theyre a tad longer than Reds and 4) the huge plume of smoke reminiscent of Reds and other Marlboro varieties. Overall I would prefer these to Reds but I'm still partial to Southern Cuts as far as Marlboros go. But what do I know, I'm a Camel person. 3/5 stars, would recommend for the Reds fan who wants to save a few bucks
