Just had to pay eleven bucks for a pack of Luckies, since New York State's broke and taxing everything to hell. Few things I abhor quite as much as being forced to choose between ruining my lungs and saving money, so I'm curious about alternate sources.

All the sites I've seen that offer to ship cartons offer only filtered cigarettes. I suppose I just haven't been looking in the right places, but does anyone know a good source--American or foreign--that will sell non-filters by the carton? I'd be interested in Lucky Strikes, Pall Malls, or Chesterfields particularly.

And if anyone has recommendations for other decent non-filter brands, I'd be glad to hear them. (For instance, do Parliament's still come without filters?)

When it comes to smoking nonfilters, you can always rip or cut the filter off before lighting up the cig. I wish I could answer your Q. I'd be surprised if even a foreign online smoke shop sells nonfilters and still ships them.

Try rolling your own non-filters. The Premier Super-matic injector machine has 3 settings on it for 100's, King Size and Non-filter. You just buy the injector, the tubes and the tobacco. There is a short learning curve but, you will get the hang of it soon after. I been rolling my own for a year now and the cost is only $0.74 per pack of 18 cigs. I use pipe tobacco that is 1/3 the price of cigarette tobacco. The RYO pack price is still only $1.18 a pack if you buy the more expensive cigarette tobacco. I think the cheapest smokes at Walgreens is 2 packs for $8.28. RYO is still a huge savings.
