If you take a few puffs of a cigarette and can't finish it, putting it back in the box will snuff it out fairly quickly and efficiently...just a little tip if you want to try it for yourself.

Shit I hear ya. I think you can get a snuffer or portable ashtray w/ a snuffer at an online tobacco shop.

A "snuffer" that was very popular a couple years ago was called the "Save it" cigarette saver. If you look around on the online tobacco sites, you should find this under "Specialty Products" or search for it in Google. I have one and they work great for taking a couple puffs and saving the cig for later. Below is the description I found online that describes the "Save it" cigarette saver in more detail:

they also sell a snuffer you can put in your cigarette, lot of native american shops sell 'em.

The snuffer you are talking about which IS sold by several Native stores, extinguishes the cigarette when you put the cigarette inside the snuffer. Not the snuffer inside the cigarette.

yeah but those snuffers put a strange taste in the cigarette when you re light it, anybody else have that experience with cigarette snuffers?
