Default Soft pack cigs

Anyone here buy soft packs? If so, do you take the cigs outta the soft pack and fill up an empty hard pack?

I know women who smoke soft packs like using cig cases to protect their packs. But cig cases ain't common with men. Actually, it's been ages since I saw a man with a soft pack of ANY brand.

I hate soft packs cause the cigs can get easily crushed if the pack falls down. The cigs can even get crushed if you just keep the pack in your pocket and you bump around in public.

I tried smoking crushed/bent cigs a long time ago. And holding a bent Newport cig was a total turn-off to me. That's when I made it a point to neva buy soft packs again.

No, I absolutely hate soft packs, like if I go to a place and ask for a pack of camel filters and all they have are soft packs, I say, screw it, give me a pack of Marlboro Reds. I've bought soft packs only 2 times and both times I bought them, like half of the cigs in the pack end up getting crushed. I also try to "pack" soft pack cigs and sometimes that even crushes them. I think soft packs are really made for like old people who like carry their cigs in their front shirt pocket, and hard packs are for people who like carry their cigs in their pants pockets.

When I buy unfiltereds they're always in soft packs, but I just stick them in that hard pack of whatever I'm smoking. I currently have 3 brands of cigs in the pack I carry around.

The only soft pack I have ever purchased was a pack of unfiltered Lucky Strikes, which I ended up getting rid of shortly thereafter.

Personally, I believe that something as fragile as a cigarette should always come in a hard pack. It would be nice if all cigarette packagea were as attractive (and sturdy) as the ones from manufactures such as Nat Sherman.

You can buy those plastic form-fitting containers to hold and protect your soft packs. You see these most often with military people and a lot of them keep the plastic container (with the soft pack inside) in between a sock and a leg. This hides the bulge when in uniform.

Soft packs is what cigs used to come in ALL of the time in the early 20th century, when cigs first came out. Every cig brand used to be nonfilters back then as well.

I'm sure the only brands available in soft packs at all are those nonfiltered brands. But I think almost every filtered brand in modern times are available in soft packs and the hard packs.

Max is the only US filtered brand I can think of that's only available in soft packs. But that's a slim 120 brand as well.

Hello from Greece, the only country in the western world that soft packs are much more popular than hard. In my opinion,at least here in Europe, soft packs has alternative blend in the same tar and nicotine, most of them are smoother.

When I smoked Marlboro King Size (Full Flavor or "Reds" as they are commonly called) I always liked the soft pack better. They were a bit longer and tasted different. This was because they came off different production lines as my friend's dad who worked at PM in Louisville, Ky explained to me once. I always kept them in my shirt pocket so I never had a problem with them getting crushed.

Cool

I usually only buy box 100s and I'll keep them wherever I have a pocket. Used to be I bought soft pack if there was no box available and I carried it wherever I had a pocket. Sometimes I carried soft pack in my pants pocket and they would get bent up a lot but they were still smokeable most of the time. I don't mind if a cig gets all bent out of shape as long as it still works.
