Ok- so apparently, I didn't get the memo- but I just went to the store today to get some smokes- and get this- now apparently there is a law that bans cigarette companies from making "Light" Or "Ultra Light" cigarettes. Well, they can still make them- but they can't "call" them that. Apparently, the law says that all cigarettes are the same- no matter what- so there is no "Light" or "Ultra Light" or "Full Flavors" or whatever it may be. For example- Marlboro Menthol Lights are now called "Marlboro Gold Packs". If you read that page on NY times- you can see more of what I'm talking about. This is just absolutely crazy. If a tobacco company wants to name a cigarette and give it a flavor- why can't they be allowed to do that?
