Lightbulb Only 2 minutes

At 11:32 am EST, today, 11-19-2009, the 12 arshole democratic senators on the US Senate Judiciary committee voted the pact act out of the Senate Judiciary committee in only 2 minutes saying the "good" bill would stop all foreign and domestic traffikers (Indians) from selling over the internet, would guarantee taxes paid to all states by making smokers buy their products from stores and would stop poor little children from getting tobacco easily from the internet. 2 friggin' minutes is all the attention it got. The 7 Republican senators on the committee registered present by proxy so only Democrats voiced their approval.

The real fight has to start now by contacting your state senators in all fifty states and state your position on S.1147 (the Pact Act of 2009) and why. Otherwise, we all will pay much much more to enjoy the smoking hobby.

Go to the CigReviews home page, click "Cigarette Links" and see the new CigReviews PDF explaining how to go about getting your voice heard among these US Senators. Just do it soon if it matters to you.

GRRRRR..........well.......this was my deciding factor in continuing or quitting smoking. The RYO scene in NC is not good and I refuse to pay higher taxes and prices each month. There is yet another bill down here to increase the price to pay for healthcare for illegals (yep democrat bill). I won't even be able to buy the good stuff pipe cut in this state even though it's made here......yep.... you guess why. Just know fellow smokers that even if I do quit smoking I will continue to fight for your rights more than the democrats have or ever will. Democrats will ruin this country with tax hikes to pay for campaign promises. This does not mean this law can not be overturned when republicans gain office however.

On another note did you hear that Obama's stimulus package created 5 jobs for only $3 million dollars in the 86th district of Florida! That is GREAT!!!!! But......there are only 25 districts in Florida.......so..........he just stole another $3 million dollars from taxpayers. Maybe these were just schip funds paid for by smokers. Find the full story on fox news......

I can't find a "Cigarette Links" link on the CigReviews home page. I do like the new look of the home page. Kinda complicating to read.

I notice the new promo for 5 free cartons on this site. Esmokes.com used to have their own 5-free-carton promo too.

Never mind. I found the "Cigarette Links" and PDF file.

This is a bunch of crap. This is not liberty or justice for all. I can understand wanting to make restaraunts smoke free because people may not want to smell secondhand smoke- but to just keep treating people who do smoke unfairly and limiting their rights is a bunch of crap. The governments job is to stay out of our personal lives and let us be free- not get involved with your personal life as much as they can. Smokers are going to have to do more to stand up for themselves- or at this rate- cigarettes may very well just become illegal all together.

Unless the govt plans on making a 6-pack of beer $30 for a 24-can beer case $90, or maybe even make a Quarter Pounder meal at McDonald's cost $10, you don't have to worry about cigs being illegal anytime soon. Antis themselves have said before they don't wanna make tobacco illegal.

Who can blame them? It's the smokers who help fund the antismokers' wallets and the politicians' pockets for that matter. The govt's mindset is "I don't care if you smoke. Just don't do it in places AND make sure you pay the taxes on your cigs. I got a family to take care of."

Yeah what the 'Super Moderator' (LOLZ) said.

Just smoke man. Don't worry about all this political BS. Let the smokers smoke and the politicians worry about the politics. Light one up, enjoy it. Like Cooljay says, Have a laugh AND a smoke, because we all know life is too short, and by smoking, at least you get to enjoy something for the rest of your life.

Cancer is a joke. 1/6 smokers get lung cancer, and if you get it, you were the unlucky one and you fail. Quit now.
