I don't know if you guys have been keeping up with the news lately- but recently New York just passed a bill that wants to ban smoking in certain "outside" facilities- such as parks, hospitals, etc. This is just a complete abuse of power if you ask me- someone's gotta put a stop to this bs.

No surprise here, yankee's are moving to NC at a pretty alarming rate and with them comes the same anti-smoking bs rules similar to what you are posting. I guess there motto is, "as long as it doesn't interfere with my life then pass that law". Maybe they are mad that New Yorkers will soon enforce the obesity tax for soft drinks and candy.

If there were no Yanks in NC I can guarantee you we would still be smoker friendly.....
