 NYC Smoking Ban in Public Places
NYC Ban on Smoking in Public Places such as parks, beaches, public squares/areas, etc. Really, a ban on smoking outside!??? In NYC! Incredible balls on these Anti-Smokers! Discriminatory! We are being hunted down. We
are losing our freedoms one by one.
I can't believe it is going into effect soon in NYC. I miss smoking in a bar but I can understand the complaint from antis but OUTSIDE spaces? You have a problem with me smoking outside?! You have a problem with me smoking in my apartment?! They are never going to be happy until we are all exiled on a remote island...with zero cigarettes. This is too much govt in my life. Too high taxes on cigarettes and I am really getting fed up. I know you have probably heard this all before and have said as much yourself. I just need to vent to someone who understands.
I feel embarrassed when strangers tell me to "put out your cigarette already!". I was actually buying shoes and this woman next to me said, "you stink of cigarette smoke!". Unbelievable! I said, "well, at least, I am not a rude bitch!". I left the store outraged and in need of a cigarette which I was contemplating putting out on her face when she exited the store.
Why am I being hounded & harassed?
I like to smoke.
It brings me pleasure.
It is not illegal. I am an adult.
I am now an oppressed and depressed adult! Without rights...  |
