Auburn University has recently made its students and faculty aware of a policy it wishes to implement which would ban smoking in outdoor areas on campus. For more information, Google "Auburn smoking ban" and consult the AU Plainsman & Wordpress discussion board.

I'm here to ask for your help. If you feel, after consulting any of the sources I allude to or on principle alone, that such a policy is a step in the wrong direction, please e-mail Eric Smith, Director of Campus Health and Wellness and proponent of the ban:
