| Its the same thing with life insurance too, they have higher premiums for smokers as well. Similar to paying more for vehicle insurance if you have a poor driving record or lots of accidents. I think we all know the risks health risks of smoking so can we really agrue against paying a higher cost for insurance if we smoke? But on the other hand, obseity is another proven health risk, so shouldn't there be higher premiums for someone who is obese or cannot pass some sort of physical fitness test? |
