Default Premium Taste From RYO Tobacco - Please share you recipes

If you have found a perfect mix of RYO tobacco that taste just like that premium brand you smoked for years please share it with others to help the transition process. Please also state which tubes you use as this has a pretty big impact on taste.

Default Rolling, rolling, rolling

I am a new smoker, so pardon my inexperience. I recently found salvation from FSC by re-rolling the Native Lights that I ordered. I am not injecting; it just doesn't appeal for some reason. I am using a 79 mm Elements roller and RAW papers. The RAW papers are fantastic! The taste of the tobacco really comes through. I am using the tobacco and filters from the Natives. Yummy!

Lalu, thanks for sharing. I have to say I have done this myself too and found how much better tobacco taste outside of FSC (fatally soiled cigarettes). Thanks for sharing this with others .

I was a Newport smoker and now use The Good Stuff Menthol Tobacco
and also like Kite Menthol in Top Menthol Tubes. The Good Stuff Menthol
costs me $16.50 a lb. One thing I've found is you can control how strong a
cigarette is by how firm you pack it. The looser it's rolled the stronger it is.
The firmer it is the lighter it is and also the menthol flavor becomes less noticeable.

Default newport type smoke

Ive been trying to find a myo tobacco brand to use and i tried the good stuff menthol light, but seem alot more minty than a newport.-newports were more menthol.--I just tried some Midnight Special menthol, and it seems to be more in line with newports,--Im trying it with zen men, tubes [kings].-- Seems a little harsh tho.--any thoughts or suggestions

Default MYO Cigarette Recipes

Ive got some MYO cigarette recipes. I started making my own about 4 years ago. Before i smoked marlboro blend 27. I was loyal to my brand's flavor and had a hard time replacing it with anything less tasty and smooth. I found Rousecco Golden Harvest to be a good brand of pipe tobacco that is tasty and inexpensive. It comes in many flavors, and by mixing and matching them with different cigarette tubes I found a suitable substitute for my old brand. I had a number of friends interested in trying my homemade cigarettes who smoked other brands, including menthol, and by using their pallets managed to compile several combos that mimic the taste of many popular name brands. All the recipes use premier cig filter tubes, which affect the flavor of the cigarette as well. I used quite a few popular brands of tobacco like topps and bugler but pipe tobacco is cheaper and tastes better. Rousecco Golden Harvest and 4 acres pipe tobacco are my favorites, and all my recipes use those brands.
