This question has been asked hundreds of time, but here it is again. My son smokes Newports. What tube and tobacco combination should I try to get this much of a menthol taste.

Won't quite taste like a Newport, but this will be mentholly enough. Largo Mint tobacco with Gambler Menthol tubes. My favorite so far for RYO menthol.

I'm not a regular menthol smoker and have never tried a Newport. But i do like a menthol from time to time. I've tried Golden Harvest brand dual purpose pipe tobacco full flavor menthol blend and have a pouch of Zig Zag menthol in a cigarette cut tobacco. I don't use menthol tubes I just stuff it in regular tubes, usually premier full flavor tubes. I liked both of those brands of menthol tobacco, though they were a little strong to me.
