1- How do you store your cigs after they are rolled to stay fresh?
2- Can you control how bold you make the menthol? Is the menthol in the tobacco or in the filters?
3- Is it worth the price to get cigarette cut or just use pipe cut?
4- How do you know what tube size to get? I bummed a RYO smoke off of a a coworker and i swear the filter was like a Camel Wide

my answers IMO
1. I generally roll what I plan to smoke the night before (usually 20-40 smokes). I keep em in plastic cases. There are probably better ways to store em but this is what i do and it works for me. Sometimes I like to make a cig and leave it sit out for few hours to dry out some. Changes the flavor and produces more smoke it seems.
2. I don't smoke many menthols so really can't answer this one. I have tried Golden Harvest brand menthol tobacco in a Zen light tube and it was good but kinda strong menthol. I've seen both menthol tobacco and menthol flavored cigarette tubes (among other flavors). I've read about people mentholating there own tobacco, but really have no idea how to do this.
3. I feel it is worth it to buy cigarette tobacco. I feel its easier to stuff, tastes better, produces a thicker richer smoke. I do smoke pipe or dual purpose tobacco too and they are good also. I would suggest to try small amounts of each and decide what you like the best. I like to save money too, but I feel its worth paying more for cigarette tobacco as I like it better.
4. I use King size tubes. similar length to premade cigs but as you noticed yes they are a little wider. Very similar to a Camel wide but i don't think quite as wide as that. I've never tried any other length tube.
5. I think its difficult to exactly replicate any premade smoke. Premades have so many additives, stems, and reconstituted tobacco added to them to enhance or smooth out the flavor that would be difficult to exactly match with RYO tobacco. I haven't been able to order from them since the PACT act came into effect, but Customblends.com has some blends they advertise as similar to some premades. I only ever tried one of their blends but really wish I had tried more.
