Default Misconception

First of all I am new to the forum, so hello. I was browsing some threads and it occurred to me that people are starting to roll for the wrong reasons. Whilest I can understand the reason for switching to ROT as mainly a financial one, I think more importantly we should be focusing on quality and substantially less chemicals.

With that being said I have a question. I am currently smoking Peter Stokkebye danish blend. We've all seen the truth.com commercials. Are the same toxic chemicals added to a majority of ROT? i.e. Bali Shag, Pete, TOP?

Sincerely,
Eric

Welcome to our forum jshwaggle. As for myself
all tobacco has chemicals in it to preserve and whatever else,
needs to go in it. I think the majority of folks MYO,like
myself went to this because of FSC papers and price.
Some tobacco says additive free , but as I know NO
smoking is good, whether it be additive free or not.I do believe
the govt. goes way overboard as to what goes in a
cigarette,to get one addicted!

Hello jshwaggle and Welcome..

I'd say it's a step in the right direction for everyone, no matter how serious one is about avoiding various chemicals, since excluding EVA is already a life-or-death difference for many smokers.

But it seems, some people panic at the idea of "500+ chemicals" and don't look any further, while i think it's important to understand that some are worse than others, and that removing everything won't always make an appealing product...

There are some outright poisons and then there are also things like cinnamon oil, which are really quite harmless IMHO
