Default want to try this

I found a RYO location near me and wanted some input on what tobacco is similar to newport menthol. Also wanted to know what the cost to use the RYO machines cost or is it better just to buy your own "home" machines?

Thanks

There is no RYO location close to where I live, but I can tell you this, buying a machine for home use is a good investment! With the price of smokes skyrocketing, any machine (including the expensive electric one's) will soon pay for themselves,in a short time. Plus you can make your smokes, when you want to,not when the shop is open. With some of the new injectors it takes very little time to make a day's,or week's supply of smokes.

You will save alot more money if you just roll your own at home. Home cost is about 10 a carton. Store rolled is about 25 a carton. At least thats the price in PA at Tightwad Tobacco. I prefer the Powermatic 2 (Electric spoon injector) its a little pricey but worth it if you smoke alot or are planning on smoking for awhile its a good investment. As for the durability I have put almost 100 cartons through it and its still going strong.

I just bought a pound of some crap that tastes like tea, but one of those hand stuffers, and some tubes...thing works, also tastes okay with Bugler mixed in. Hand Stuffer is a big plastic piece of trash that has to be man handled, but it srsly stuffs the tubes.

It's kewl, but it sort of sucks, b/c now that it works, I feel the need to invest in a better stuffing machine, and I have to read up on tobaccos...

...I did, however, think of an idea that might help OP in tobacco selection...go to your local head shop...they should let you try any kind they have.
