Default Gambler Tube problem

We bought our usual five cartons of Gambler tubes the other day. Started rolling with the new tubes and found that the tobacco would not go all the way to the filter. This has happened before for various reasons, but this time was different. The tobacco was perfect. We ran the tubes off of four machines. One Laramie , one original top o matic , and two top o matic T2's. Same problem. We went out and bought one carton of Zig Zags, they worked like a charm. We later went back and exchanged the defective tubes with new tubes, same problem with those. Went back out bought another carton of Zig Zags, again no problem. Our conclusion is that we got a bad batch of tubes from a faulty machine at the Gambler plant. I tried to send them an e-mail but can't find thier web site. Is anyone else having this problem?

I've never had any problems with any brand tubes? Some are made better than others, but all have loaded. Did you find out what was wrong with the Gamblers?

That particular lot seemed to be slightly larger in diameter.

We purchased some Gambler tubes once that wouldn't even go over the fill tip on the Top O Matic. We switched to a different brand and had no problems. The local store that sells us our tubes and they switched brands they sold to gambler and we started having the problem with the tubes not filling all the way with tobacco and again getting boxes of tubes that wouldn't fit over the fill tip. We went back to other brands of tubes "staying away from Gambler" and had no more problems. There are a lot of replies on the web that tell you that Gambler tubes and the Top O Matic just don't seem to work all of the time. I think they have inconsistencies with the diameter of the tube during manufacturing or maybe they buy and resell the rejects from other manufacturers. Anyway our fix was to just not use Gambler tubes.

WOW! I wonder if we are using the same injector? I have no problem with Gambler or any other tubes thus far.

I only use the Gambler Gold king. I have never had any trouble using them.
I consider them to be one of the best utility tubes on the market.
