Default Philip Morris Commanders

I live in L.A and have not been able to find the Commanders (nonfilters) in either the short size or the longer ones. Anyone know if they are still available?

In the past I would occasionally pick up a pack to supplement my own brand because it takes me back to a different time, taking a good, long, hard drag and still exhaling residual drags from my nose while I take subsequent drags. They were "Marlboro" before Marlboro was invented and a filter put on.

Too bad hardly any women nowadays smoke nonfilters. They don't know what they are missing. Oh, the ads I could design to entice ladies who are cigarette smokers, well-educated and professional---to try a pack.

I use to have a neighbor why smoke Commanders (nonfilters).

He was a WW2 vet and a carpenter and brick layer. I worked
with him some while I was in college. He was one of those interesting
people you often meet in life.

I remember bumming a few off him and it was a good cigarette.

I agree with you on nonfilters vs filtered. Smoke nonfiltered cigs
for a month and you will not go back to a filter. Filters numb the taste.

Have you tried checking online for PM Commanders (nonfilters)?

Philip Morris recommends asking a local smoke shop to special order for you from their distributor.

I remember back when i was a kid and my parents
used to smoke theses PM Comanders. Think it was a white
pack with red and blue stripes thru the words on the front of
pack. I thought they had stopped making these. I did try these
back in my younger years of smoking, very good, but just
couldn't find em here in FL.

Yep, a good smoke.

Can't find them in my area of the South.
