I wonder where's the person at (the one who suggested this idea of an off-topic forum). I'm waiting to see his topics for discussion, since he got his wish for an off-topic subforum. I notice he did post in the main area of the forum tonight.

Actually, I'm only the 2nd poster to post on this subforum, while I notice several new posts and new people posting in the "main subforums." I guess that shows the area of the forum visitors are more interested in.

But since this subforum IS new, I'll wait for a week to see if anyone else posts some off-topics.

I don't have any off-topics that can engage a discussion. I'm more interested in PRO-smoking posts.

I am starting to wonder if my request for this subforum was too early. I still believe it is a good idea, but perhaps a little too soon to be implemented on a forum that doesn't have a lot of traffic to begin with.

The traffic is good in this forum to me. This isn't the area of the forum where people are posting. I see a lot new posts in here since my last visit hours ago.

If this is bad traffic for a smoking forum, I wonder what that makes a smoking forum dealing with smoking ladies.

I've seen smoking forums that only deal with smoking in itself...similar to this one (rather than discussions about smoking ladies/smoking celebs). And those forums have "bad traffic" for real compared to this one.

Well, the forum is active enough considering how young it is and how niche the topic is, but it probably gets less than 1/1000 the traffic of other speciality forums. When you have have 10,000+ members and get thousands of posts per day, a general forum makes more sense. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea for this forum at this particular time.

Before too long, there will be people on here looking for babysitters, looking for a good place to buy reef, looking to buy and sell automobiles, looking for people to come see their eBay auctions, see their sex maniac sites, MLM, etc....

yea, its still not as much as the other forums, where i usually see 1k to 2k posts a day
