I'm in the military so on my last ship the only cigarettes they sell in the ship shore are newports, marlboro reds, marlboro lights, and marlboro menthol lights (ugh). Marlboro lights are okay but } like menthols that aren't to menthol-y and I love Newports and I'm a white female but I know a lot of non-black people that smoke newprts but then again I know a lot of black people that smoke Marlboro reds.

It's weird because Newports were really popular among high school kids of all races in the 90's, yes now they are a Black smoke.
