Newport Lights have corked filters. Newport Stripes and Newport 120s are the only 2 Newport brands I saw that ever had all-white filters. And both of those Newport brands are no longer on the market in the 21st century.

When the original version of Newports first came out in the early 60s, they used to be all-white cigs for most of that decade. And then in 1969, Lorillard changed the pack design as well as making the Newport cig a corked cig. I even believe they made Newports a stronger cig by the end of the 60s.

And of course, Lorillard hasn't changed the Newport pack or the cig itself since then. lol
