| Hello: Does anyone know anything about what appears to be a strip that starts about 15mm from the filter, and if this helps to cause the cigarette to go out? A friend of mine says she believes that the "strip" was added within the last eight months or so, and that it causes the cigarette to go out--even if one is actively smoking the cigarette. She got my curiosity up, so I decided to ask. Thanks for any info you can give me. J. |

| Your not seeing things they say they added an extra thick paper strip that causes the cigarette to smolder, that or the popular belief which I'm more than partial to that they added carpet glue or some other additive to make it go out. Either way it makes cigs taste and smell like shit. Eight months is about correct since that was when they were added nationwide, but in mosts states they've been around longer. |
