FSC paper The store I work at has finally run out of non-FSC cigs of all brands, and people have stopped asking for them. People were so upset by the new paper that goes out on its own and everyone says it makes their throat sore, but now the only choice is to roll your own. Many folks decided to do just that, since the recent Obama tax kicked in last April anyway ( he signed it and made it law, don't know who's idea it was originally)and now they're stuck with this crappy paper too. So many people figured if they had to get used to something new, they may as well get used to something cheap, and we now sell cart loads of loose bagged tobacco, papers, paper tubes with filters attached and machines to make them. Smokers at my store report $7. -$10. per carton depending on the tobacco they buy. We are now exploring different choices in rolling tobacco's but our main brand is Gambler cigarette, and 4Ace's pipe tobacco. My customers report that the pipe tobacco makes a better cigarette, and or buy it because it cost's ten dollars less for twice the tobacco, at $17.49. This is a full pound that makes two and a half cartons. Does anyone else do this? Even sometimes? And what does it cost where you live? |
