| Well, here I am. I just had my first cigarette about two hours ago. It was a Kamel Red (very good, I thought). It wasn't much of a hassle smoking it, as I've smoked plenty of splifs before. I just am really hoping that this doesn't become a one pack a day habit. My goal is one cig a day, tops. So far I don't feel any pangs for it, and I don't think I have an addictive personality. I can drink three pots of coffee a day for a week straight and then go without coffee completely for a month, and I've always been fine with alcohol. I just hope that it stays this way with cigarettes. Not just because of the obvious cons such as smelling bad, reduced lung capacity etc., but because they're expensive. Especially Kamel Reds. Anyway, Hi. |

| If you do some quick google research on Natural American Spirits - 100% additive free tobacco (FSC paper probably isn't though >:| ). You can find devotionals from 20 year Marlboro/Camel smokers who went through a pack a day, switched to NAS, and go through a pack in 4 days. They're more expensive a pack, but since they smoke less it saves them money. Since you want to be a one time a day thing, you'll have an easier time keeping that routine with NAS. Or, you can treat yourself to some cloves (I suggest Djarum Blacks). Welcome |

Hi, welcome to the forum. One cig a day huh? Respect for that. I do agree that cigs are more enjoyable when you wait awhile to smoke one, instead of just smoking them every 20 minutes. I like to wait at least 3-4 hours in between cigs. Kamel Reds are ok, I prefer the Camel Filters myself- also Marlboro Reds on occasion. |
