| I am a Lucky Strike and Chesterfield fiend. Also smoke the occasional pack of Camel filters or Wides and usually Marb 27s as a regular filtered brand. Was a 20 year Marb red smoker until the FSC thing.I am an HVAC technician.Have been smoking full time since 16,started at 14.Im now 37.Dan |

| I finally found some Chesterfields and bought a carton. They are still a great smoke but not as good as when L&M made them. They are only available in king size now,the shorts are no longer made.Luckies are the best though,Dan |

Smoking Luckies, but if I can find a pack, I'm going to try Chesterfields again. I know they use to be a top brand, but since another company is involved now, they might have lost some on the taste. I"m glad though, that some members here are still interested in these older brands. |

| The Chesterfields are alot stronger now,I dont know if that has to do with the FSC or not. They are best after a good breakfast with hot coffee.I have always liked the older brands better, our grandfathers knew how to make stuff.Camel was also good before they changed the blend. If you cant find General or Chesterfield, maybe I can send you a pack and a can.I wish you could still get the 70mm,they are all kings now. These newer brand cigarettes just dont have class like Luckies and Chesterfields. They are the real deal.Dan |

You arr right about Camels. I was smoking Camel NFs several years ago and I was on their mailing list. I recieved this big announcement that they were improving the blend. ![]() If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!!!!!! ![]() Oh well, After a pack or two, I switched to Lucky Strikes. |

| I read somewhere that the non filter blend was not changed,I believe I found it on Tobacco Documents, its still supposed to be the original Camel blend.Maybe the FSC has something to do with it.I know if I find a fresh pack of them they are good.Still not a Lucky though. |

Glad to hear the original Camel nonfilter blend was not changed. A few weeks ago I met an older guy in his late 70s or so coming out of our local convinence store with four packs of nonfiltered Camels. From the tatoos on his arms, I guessed he was a vet. Still sticking with Luckies. Although I might get a pack of Camels just to test the taste |
