Soooo.....I'm Bridget, I'm 24, I'm active duty military in the navy. I just finished up my first enlistment in Japan, reupped and going to Cali to be a small craft navigator.
I generally smoke newports, definately miss the prices and freedom of smoking over in japan, a carton of newports costs 36 dollars and it could say no smoking and no one would care if you smoked there (except onbase). I will also some Kool menthol kings, kol menthol milds, marlboro blend 54 menthol, marlboro smooths and marlboro lights. But if I'm bumming then I don't complain no matter what it is.
I don't really care if I can smoke in a resturant but we definately should be able to smoke outside or in bars. Then again in my one horse town, I do what I want and no one will f*ck with me. (i don't know if we can curse here so better safe than sorry.

Those were the prices on base but even japanese cigarettes aren't expensive.

please tell me you're coming to san diego!! we only visited japan a few times on deployments. i loved getting those cigarette boxes from singapore that had all the dead bodies, smokers lungs, and the implied "smoking causes limp dick" pictures... if you were on a ship, did ya'll have any sneaky smoking places when the lamp was out?

Yea, sept 12 is my report date, I'm going to acu 1 in coronado, Those packs would creep me out so bad that like I would color them over them or rip them off lol. And about the smoke pit, definately, signal shelter, well deck wing walls, mooring stations, different parts of the catwalks, 07 level in general, ect. The smoking lamp was out alot, we'd also walk off the ship and walk off the pier to the laundry mat or mcd's and smoke also.
