Greetings from Vancouver, B.C. Good day fellow smokers;
I've been trolling around here for a couple of days now, and figured it was high time to actually register and make an account of myself.
Lets see...I am an old hand at tobacco use, having smoked cigarettes since the age of 13, and cigars and snus at around the age of 20 (I am currently 30). Lately, I've also been venturing into the world of nasal snuff, and have discovered a love for the (tobacco) pipe.
Although I've been smoking generic taylor made cigs for the majority of my smoking career, I've recently discovered the joys of hand rolling Drum, not to mention playing around with blending in condiment tobaccos.
Outside of my tobacco use, my wife and I celebrated the birth of our first last year; which of course, has taken up the majority of my (non-working) time...in a good way. When I'm able to sneak away, I enjoy a round of golf (play scratch league), or spending time in the great outdoors (fishing, camping, hiking, etc.); or, if the weather is too darmed inclement, playing around in the kitchen, or settling in with a good read. I suppose I should also mention that politics are something of a hobby for me, and I am active at both Municipal and Federal levels - although fear not, I will keep my crazy Canadian views to myself, unless speaking on something we can all agree on (such as ridiculous anti-smoking laws).
I hold an MBA from the University of British Columbia, however, I switched majors after acheiving a B.S. in Food Sciences from the same institution. I am currently self-employed as an Immigration and Business consultant. Whilst attending university, I also found myself partaking in several classes as a "non-student"; namely history, anthropology, archeology, sociology, Poli Sci, and comparitive religion...I have wide ranging interests; and oft find myself pursuing them with aplomb (at least until something else takes my interest).
I look forward to getting to know you all,
