I haven't bought cigarettes online for a couple of years now but with prices so high now, I feel compelled to. I remember in the past that I tried one carton of Marlboro lights from Europe (Russia, I think) and the flavor was not what I was used to. I think I then tried a carton from Philippines and the taste was reasonably similar to the American version of Marlboro. Can anyone here confirm this? So I guess what I am looking for is an online supplier that offers a good price as well as product that tastes like what I am used to. Advice anyone?

You're right about both. I think it comes down to your specific taste. I always thought the European swiss blend of Marlboro Lights tasted more like the US version than the Eastern European blend.

The nice thing about ordering from overseas your can try both, at $$25 bucks a carton you can afford to experiement

I am also buying my cigarettes that are made in Europe and have similar taste with those made in Europe. These are stronger in taste, but the price from where I buy is good enough.

I enjoy the Philippians smokes must better than the Switzerland smokes. The Switzerland smokes are drier and void of flavor compared to those made in the Philippians. Anyone else notice this? I can live with the Switzerland smokes or any other countries tobaccos as long as they remain non-FSC. The US govt killed the tobacco industry for me.

so what site are you ordering philippine cigs from? I've tried the Swiss made Marlboro lights and Reds and didn't feel like they tasted quite right. Not enough flavor and the draw didn't seem right. I've read in a few different places that cigs from the phillipines taste better.

Has anyone purchased from a Chinese site? I see many of them are selling cartons for $15-$20 dollars. I wonder what the quality is like at those kind of prices

has anyone tried "online-cigarettes-tobacco.com"? Anyone know if its legit or a ripoff? Seems like a pretty professional site. Actually has an address and telephone number under the contact link. Most online cig sites I've seen don't even have any of that info.

dang..sorry for the late response. I have purchasing the Marlboro Red and Lights Made in the Philippines from DutyFreeDepot for about a year. Marlboro red/light is offered from both Switzerland $39 per carton and Philippines (Soft Pack Only) $32 per carton. A little cheaper when bought in bulk (6 Cartons or more). Also you receive DutyFreeDepot Points with each purchase. Saves you additional $5 to $10 off the total purchase. The products are fresh tasting, burn cleanly and NO FSC. The only downside is the sales calls I receive from DutyFreeDepot trying to get me to buy more. I will also say the most noticiable difference I've experienced with off shore smokes is the cig filter. The US manufactured smokes have a slightly larger filter and the filter is bound much tighter than those of Euro/PI smokes. I still think US smokes taste the best but the FSC has ruined the relaxation I've enjoyed when having a smoke.
